Long before the Conjuring franchise took on the murder trial of Arne Johnson, NBC aired a TV movie inspired by those real-life events: 1983’s THE DEMON MURDER CASE. And while some might expect a made-for-TV production to pale in comparison, this one boasts Kevin Bacon, Andy Griffith and Cloris Leachman and gives the big-screen counterpart a run for its money.
